How to find Reliable SEO blogs- There are many SEO companies out there, but how do you know the good ones, and how do you know if the SEO blogs they produce are reliable? Here are some things to watch for as you study SEO companies and their blogs.
First, the SEO company should talk about in their blogs about what they will show you as they work with you. This does not necessarily mean results or a rise in Google rank. Rather, the SEO company should talk about the SEO practices they use.
SEO CONTRACT
Three or four months into an SEO contract could be too soon to see major results, so do not worry if you don’t see immediate top results. But your company should talk about the things that they offer clients in the interim, such as an SEO audit of your website, analysis of your link profile, optimized site content, and articles with links to your website that have been published elsewhere.
Second, the company should talk about in their blogs about the things they will ask you for if you become a client. They need your help to do a good job. Some of the things they need from you are:
- Access to your content management system
- Access to your Google analytics
- Access to webmaster tools in Google
- Access to your social media accounts
- Target keywords
- Past audits you have done
If they are not asking you for anything, they could be just adding linkbacks from a large network of spam sites. This type of activity can actually hurt your ranking.
SEO SUGGESTIONS
Third, the company should talk about the suggestions for improvements to your site. If the SEO company does not ask you to do things, it is a sign that they are doing black hat SEO or they are not doing anything.
Blackhat SEO companies will just point to linkbacks to your site. They are hoping that the low effort they put forth will produce results. They are not really interested in working with you. They just want to give you anything that will make you think you are getting something for the money you spend.
Fourth, the company should discuss their willingness to talk about what they are doing on your site. If they stonewall you, this is a bad sign.
These are the things you should look for in SEO blogs if you want to find a reliable company that will help you in the long run.
